Harvest Moon, September 15, 2008. The full Moon closest to the first day of autumn is often called the Harvest Moon. This year the date was in mid-September. Some years it can be early October. The small bay in the middle distance is where my home is located next to Georgian Bay. I took the photograph from a cliff located west of the village. It was peaceful watching the Moon climb above the land and lake from this place.
