Comet Hale-Bopp, April 14, 1997. This beautiful comet cruised across our skies in the spring of '97. I observed it and photographed it every chance I could get. In this image taken on the shore of Georgian Bay, moonlight has lit up the landscape. The comet is reflected in the calm waters.
